With the club’s liquor license in jeopardy, the Sams Club has launched a new application process to try to make sure its members can legally purchase wine, beer and spirits.
In an announcement Friday, the club said its application is open to all customers who want to buy alcoholic beverages and wants to know how to complete the process.
The application process for Sams club members will be conducted by the Sam Adams Company in conjunction with Sam Adams, the company said.
That means the company will be able to contact all applicants directly and will have access to the applicant’s personal information.
In addition to the application process, the group will also be using social media to reach out to customers.
The group’s Facebook page has more than 5 million likes, while its Twitter account has nearly 300,000 followers.
Sam’s Club members can sign up for an account here .
The group will not be accepting applications from outside the U.S.
