Sams Club is the world’s largest TV channel dedicated to reading books for children.
Sams, the owner of the popular childrens channel, announced Wednesday that it will begin publishing a collection of children’s books for free online starting in 2019.
“We’re excited to announce that the Sams Books for Kids series will begin publication in 2019,” Sams said in a statement.
“The Sams books are a collection that celebrates and encourages children to explore the world around them and share their favorite books with others.
We’re thrilled to have the chance to create books that children can read in an interactive way that lets them learn from one another.”
Sams was one of the earliest adopters of online video in 2015 when it introduced the Sam TV app.
Since then, the channel has published a wide range of titles on its popular channel, including the Sam’s Club series.
“As we have learned from the success of our channel, we now have a dedicated online channel that is dedicated to books for kids,” Sam’s president of content development, Matt Toms said in the statement.
The collection will be available in a digital format for $3.99 a month.
Sam’s books will also be available on iPad, Kindle and Google Play.
Sams Books For Kids will be published by HarperCollins, a division of HarperCollins Publishers.
