WINX club penguins will be offering the biggest salon in the world when it opens in the ACT on September 30.
The club’s owner, Matt McLeod, said the venue would be the largest in the country and it would be able to accommodate 10,000 people.
“It’s about taking a step back and really look at what we can do and what we need to do to be the best bar in the city,” he said.
“We’re going to be setting the bar higher than anybody else in the state and that’s going to take time.”
The club will offer its clients the opportunity to choose from a wide range of hair types and haircuts, from a range of colour schemes to natural and “faux” styles.
The hair salon will be staffed by professional stylists.
“There’s no shortage of people who want to come and have a good time,” Mr McLeod said.
“We’ll have people from all walks of life who have come here to experience what we offer.”
The bar will be one of the biggest in the area.
“You can expect to have a real buzz around it, people will be coming and going.”
The bar’s staff will also be able pick up the call on a regular basis.
The club, which has been operating since 2012, is expected to bring in up to $250,000 for the city.
The venue is also expected to have an annual turnover of up to half a million dollars, with more than $1 million being generated from its bar alone.
“That’s our way of saying thank you to all our clients, our patrons, to all the people that come to our bar,” Mr MacLeod said.
“The Club Penguin is also looking to open a second bar in Adelaide, in the same building, next year.
